2012 Nutmeg Hamfest a success

Well, another successful Nutmeg Hamfest and Connecticut State Convention has come and gone.
This year the event was at a new location, not far form the old one, and everyone (mostly) found the Four Points Sheraton without major difficulty.
Fabulous door prizes where award.
I won a matching power supply for the Yaesu 2 Meter Mobile I won last year … now I’m told to let others have a turn or face the wrath of the propagations Gods!

Kit, N1MCC and K1PU start construction on one of Kit’s MotoTBRO repeaters in Middlefield CT
A few photos of the project beginnings are found in the Photos section.
Just got the utility pole planted, equipment box mounted and the grounding system complete under the dirt.
Hopefully things will be completed before winter arrives.
