I’ve recently acquired a couple of Mac systems (Intel based) and have started exploring the the features of OS X and Xcode along the Carbon and Cocoa frameworks they support.  Coming from decades of Microsoft OS programming (from the “Dark Days” of DOS to Windows XP), this is a new challenge but so far has been a pleasant one.  I’m starting out small, just some light weight things to get a feel for the OS and getting my skill set built up.  My future projects will be mostly Mac, but I’ll still continue to support my Windows code (found elsewhere on the K1PU site).  Some projects ”Scream Out” for multi platform support, so I intend to write some applications in REALbasic so I can have a common code base and compile to both Win32 and Mac OS X flavors of the same application.

UTC Clock application is a starting point in my journey into Mac OS X programming.  It's a simple app, but as Ham's we all have a need for time in UTC.  From when is the next pass of AO-51 to when ARRL Field Day ends, everything is based on UTC.  I hope you find it a useful addition to your desktop.  Email me with questions or comments.
